Introducing: Hex Ranger Sling XL

When we last reviewed Hex here, it was one of their more-compact slings (you can see that here). If you liked the style of the bag, and the fact it was purpose-built for cameras, but thought it was too small? Well, you did have plenty of other options from Hex. Even so, they listened to feedback from their customers and photographers, and came up with the brand-new Hex Ranger Sling XL.

This one is part of the Ranger lineup (as was our prior review), and it strides a middle ground, being larger than a traditional sling bag, yet smaller than a backpack. What this means is that you’ve got plenty of space for all of your gear, including multiple lenses. And if your gear also includes a 13″ laptop? Well, guess what friend – that can slide on in as well. With all of those adjustable dividers as well, you could quickly convert this to be a weekend bag (with a change of clothes) and easily be on your way.
