Zagg has keyboards for your full-sized devices

When we think of Zagg – and the brands that are part of the Zagg family – we’re used to thinking about protection and accessories for our phones and tablets. And they’ve certainly excelled there, but that’s not all that they do. Just recently, they’ve released two families of keyboards that – while they’ll happily connect to your portable devices – will look just as home on your desk, connected to a laptop or desktop. Meet the Zagg Pro and Zagg Connect keyboards.

With the Zagg Pro keyboards, those are dealing with totally wireless connectivity, and the ability to charge on a Qi wireless pad (the first we’ve seen that on a keyboard) to keep things topped up, with up to three months of usage (and it can charge via USB-C as well). With these Pro keyboards, you’ve got three different sizes to pick from – 12″, 15″, or 17″, depending on how much real estate you need on the keyboard, as well as whether or not you want a numpad. These can pair to up to three different devices, with ease of switching between those devices right from the keyboard.

On the other hand, if you just want the compact 12″ experience and need to be hooking it to just a tablet or a phone, then the Zagg Connect is where it’s at. These are wired, with the far end of the cord offering either a lighting or USB-C connector. Across all of these boards, you’ve got the sort of chiclet style appearance that we’ve seen in other Zagg keyboard designs. As far as the typing experience goes, we’ll get back to you on that, as we’ve got a Pro 15 on the way for review.

If you want to pick one of these up, you can of course do that directly at Zagg. The Zagg Pro keyboards range in price from $69.99 – $89.99, while the Zagg Connect keyboards are $49.99 – $59.99. Oh, and if you’re a completist at heart, they’ve also got a wireless mouse ($79.99) that will complete the look. zagg.com
