This little robot will unplug your power-hungry lights

It’s not clear whether you can actually buy this little robot but apparently it’s a mobile bot that can “see” appliances that are using too much energy and unplug them. How does it work? Basically, a home automation product called Sense will notify the bot when it spots an offender and it will roll over and take care of things.

Since this product isn’t impossible we’ll give it a pass and it’s a pretty cute little system. Who wouldn’t want a jolly little robot running around the house like the scrubber from Wall-E but is relentlessly dedicated to saving electricity?
