Watch these cute toys go crazy thanks to a whole lot of voltage

It’s pretty rare that I’ll share a YouTube video of a bunch of kids’ toys, but this is an exception. Basically, the video depicts a series of kids’ toys – a sassy monkey to a “bee-stung dog” to one of those endless mountain climbing duck things – under the influence of various levels of voltage. At 5V you’re looking at a normal, calm toy. At 30V these things go off the rails… literally.

By using a Wanptek DC power supply, each toy received more and more juice until many of the toys literally exploded, their motors howling in pain. It’s a cool little video and I personally think we should apply more voltage to more products.
