- Color night vision
- 2-Way full duplex for audio
- Magnetic mount for more flexible mounting solutions
- Weatherproof magnetic charging cable
- All-new SmartHub BaseStation
- A free 3-month trial to Arlo Smart included with purchase
If the Arlo Pro 3 is wireless, how does it actually operate? Via a rechargeable battery tucked into that sleek case. The charging cable is weatherproof, so conceivable you could charge it in-place, or even have it sort of hard-wired into your house power.
With the 160-degree viewing able, night-vision, and “mount anywhere” capability, the Arlo Pro 3 looks like everything you’d want from a camera. While they do have a premium service (for storing recordings) it’s not sometihng you have to use. And, should you have other home automation services in your setup, this will play nicely there as well (Alexa, Apple Homekit, Google Assistant, and IFTTT). Pricing starts at $499.99 for a 2-camera system, and add-on cameras will run $199.99 from arlo.com
