SteelSeries, makers of gaming gear including keyboards and mice, has just announced the Aerox 3 2022 Edition, a new version of their vaunted Aerox line-up. The mice feature a superlight design as well as “100% virgin grade PTFE glide skates” that allow for more agile gaming.
There are two models launched, a wired and wireless version. The Aerox 3 Wireless features 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth connectivity and weighs 68 grams. It includes a USB-C cable and costs $99.
The wired model, the Aerox 3, is a bit lighter. From the release:
Lightweight = fast. Weighing in at an ultra-light 59g, the Aerox 3 is specifically designed for speed and effortless gameplay. Silky smooth 100% virgin grade PTFE glide skates deliver enhanced control and velocity, while the USB-C soft super mesh cable provides less drag.
The wired model costs $59. The real value here is the grid-like covering that improves airflow on your mousing hand, ensuring you don’t get too sloppy while playing.
