What’s this, a slipper intended for the outdoors? Yes, indeed, that seems to be the case. Myself, I’ve had a fair number of pairs of slippers over the years, as my feet always feel cold. They’ve been intended just for outdoor use, though a few have had some thin soles that meant they could be worn to go out and grab the mail. The Voited Soul Slippers, on the other hand, look purpose built to head outside.
For that to work, the Voited Soul Slippers need to have a good outer sole. Here, it’s a single piece that looks to have a good bit of tread to it, so you won’t faceplant stepping out of the tent. On top of that, they’ve got ripstop nylon that looks a bit like your sleeping bag. Rather than relying on a fill, though, they’ve got got fleece lining in there to keep things warm.
For comfort as you’re walking around, they’ve got a memory foam insole to absorb some impact, and the nylon upper also has a water-repellent treatment, so you don’t need to worry about the morning dew. While I tend to just have a pair of sneakers for relaxing in at the end of the day to let the boots air out, something like the Voited Soul Slippers could certainly work.
