Recently Released: PSB M4U MKII in brown

If you recall, back at the end of 2021, we told you about the PSB M4U MKII (you can see that here). Since then, the headphones have obviously proven popular, as they’re now available in a brand new color – brown, along with the original (and very classic) black.

While we tend of thing of black hues for serious, higher-end audio, we’d say that this new chocolate brown color that you can select lends a good bit of warmth to the overall look of things. It also seems to soften the sharper edges a bit, so that shows you what a color change can do to your perception.

Of course, the main electronics core of things is in black, which makes sense, instead of having to come up with another molding line for that shell that holds the drivers and those oh-so-delicious physical switches on the earcups. We’ve not seen these in person yet (but are working on getting a review loaner in), but given they’re still making them over a year later, they’ve got things going for them. If you’re wanting to pick up a pair (in either color), they’re $399 direct from psbspeakers.com
