Introducing: PNY DUO LINK iOS USB 3.2 Dual Flash Drive

Earlier this year, we told you about a PNY thumbdrive that managed to pack both a USB-A and USB-C connector in (review here). Those are great for computers, tablets, and even some phones. But what about those of us who are rocking iPhones with a Lightning connector? Well, fear not, friends, PNY has us covered there as well!

What is it?

To start with, the PNY DUO LINK iOS USB 3.2 Dual Flash Drive is the thumb drive that we all know and love. You’ve got that big (as compared to the connectors we’ve got these days) USB-A connector at the end, capacities of 64GB – 256GB, and some speedy transfer speeds courtesy of the USB 3.2 spec built in. On the flip side, however, that’s where the magic happens. There, you’ve got a Lightning connector, which means this can hook into your iPhone (or older iPad).

How does it work?

Just like any other thumb drive, is what we’re guessing. We’ll work on getting one in for review, and then we can report back on how an iPhone and iPad end up seeing the device and working with it. If you’ve got a specific scenario you’d like to see tested, drop us a line and let us know what that would be.

How can I get one?

Well, just about anywhere you can find PNY products (including Amazon) is where you can get one of these. They range in pricing: 64GB for $24.99, 128GB for $37.99, or 256GB for $54.99. pny.com
