Quite a number of people I know have started wearing silicone rings. And it makes a certain sort of sense – it’s lighter weight, not likely to get banged up, and if you misplace it, well, they’re not that expensive to replace. In other words, you’re not really sizing the metal portion to your finger, but the silicone inner portion.
