Introducing: Chubbies Everywear Pants

Even though we’re in the midst of summer still, if you look forward, folks are going to be returning to school, and it seems many of us are heading back to the office, if only for a day or two per week. That means all those shorts need to be replaced with some pants. What if those pants could be as comfortable as your favorite shorts? That’s what is being aimed for with the Chubbies Everywear Pants.

You might know Chubbies from their shorts lineup, which offers three different inseam lengths, going as short as 4″. Well, they’ve taken their expertise from creating those popular shorts (as well as other clothing), and taken the inseam WAY longer (all the way to 30″) to turn those shorts into a versatile pair of pants.

The thing that I am drawn to the most about the Chubbies Everywear Pants is the stretch built into them. This comes from the 90-10 (polyester-spandex) blend, as well as from the waistband that has elastic in the back, and flat up front. All of this adds up to a pair of pants that’ll move with you, and won’t make you feel restricted or bunched up.

There’s plenty of other great stuff built in as well. With the DWR coating on them, that means you don’t have to worry about spilling your drink on your pants (as it should roll right off), and the material itself is wrinkle-resistant and moisture wicking. Sounds great for wandering around downtown in, right? You’ve got your standard set of pockets (two hip, two around back) but then you’ve also got hidden zippered pockets to really make sure nothing falls out as you go about your day.

Sure, maybe the aesthetic that Chubbies is going for here doesn’t appeal to everyone. For us, though, we’re intrigued, and we’ve got a pair in for a full review (so keep an eye out for that).
