If you recall, last year, we reviewed the first version of the mophie 3-in-1 charger (you can see that here). Then, it was called the snap+ charger, now it’s just known as the mophie 3-in-1 travel charger.
What is it?
When we think of travel chargers, we tend to think of battery packs, or compact wall warts to keep our devices powered. If we want to have wireless charging – or even MagSafe – those tend to be a larger installation, something that we leave on our desk or dresser. Well, with the mophie 3-in-1 travel charger, you’re able to take that show on the road.
The big call out here is that central pad, which is MagSafe compatible, and can do up to a 15W fast charge of your phone. Flanking it, you’ve got two other charging areas as well. To the right, you’ve got a dedicated Apple Watch charger (that can deliver up to 7.5W), and on the left, you’ve got another wireless pad, perfect for dropping your earpod case to charge things up.
One thing to note is that, unlike it’s predecessor, you do not get a USB-A and USB-C port outputs – it’s just the wireless charging here for your Apple devices. So, if you’re not fully in the Apple ecosystem, this may not be the one for you.
