Gray makes iPhone 13 cases that cost more than your iPhone 13

Look, bro, I’m not here to judge. Gray, for their part, makes pretty nice cases for your iPhone. There’s just one little catch: these beasts cost more than your bloody iPhone.

Priced at $1,899, the Alter Ego case for example is made of titanium and covered in vapor-deposited metal. If you’re a bit tired of boring old dark colors, you can also grab the gold-plated model for a mere $2,699. That’s right: you can own a piece of metal that will outlast your iPhone and will probably cost more than two of them.

The cases come in limited editions of 500 pieces and feature a unique style that protects the faces and corners but lets the iPhone’s surfaces shine through. Lest we forget Gray is the same company that makes the $999 crypto wallet, a concept that, while bold, makes a little more sense than outfitting a fast-moving consumer good with gold-plated titanium.
