Google has recently revealed that it plans to purchase Mandiant, a cybersecurity giant well known for its discovery of the SolarWinds hack.
The terms of the deal state that Google plans to acquire the company for about $5.4 billion, in a lump sum payment. Mandiant’s technology will be incorporated into Google Cloud to enhance security and avoid future Data Breaches, a frequent and growing issue.
