Get outside with Outdoors and Land Rover

If you?re thinking about reading up on the outdoors – planning an adventure, researching gear, and the like – Outdoors magazine has been one of the pre-eminent publication that folks think of (frankly, the boldly simple name seals the deal, don?t you think?) Well, they?re pairing up with another brand that truly conquers the out of doors – Land Rover – to do something new.

What that new thing is a new weekend adventure con/fest that?s going by the name of 4xFAR. It?s being set in the Coachella Valley, so it?s really no surprise (heard of a music fest by that name?) that they?ve got a bunch of music headlining the show. Along with that, you?ve got a Land Rover experiences (aka, test drive the trucks on a pre-set course), and a whole bunch of equipment-driven outside stuff, like yoga, fly fishing, survival skills, and campsite mixology (guessing a cooler of frosty ones doesn?t count?)

If you?re going to be in the Coachella Valley area on January 18th and/or 19th, you can pick up tickets now. Earlybird deals are sold out, but you can get 2-day passes for $185 (plus fees) or go for the VIP route at $349 (plus fees). 4xfar.com
