Ford Executive Arrested: In an unexpected turn of events, a Google Nest Hub device played a crucial role in a domestic dispute, demonstrating the unforeseen implications of our increasingly interconnected world. The incident took place in the home of Franck Louis-Victor, an executive at Ford Next LLC, and his wife.

Bloomfield Township police said Louis-Victor’s wife accused him of assaulting her during a fight at home. She said he “slapped and headbutted” her, hit her with a Google Nest Hub smart screen, and took a “lit butane torch” toward two of her bags worth roughly $20,000, saying he’d burn them, according to a statement by the police.

As the argument escalated, Louis-Victor allegedly threatened his wife with physical harm, including allegedly threatening her and her house with a butane torch. He also allegedly tried to hit her with a Google Nest Hub, according to the Detroit Free Press

Louis-Victor was arrested on a charge of arson including preparation to burn property and assault with a dangerous weapon. At this point he is still employed at Ford Next.
