Amazon’s new “buy with prime” service allows merchants to incorporate prime delivery into their own online stores. This feature is limited to merchants already using Fulfillment by Amazon and is being rolled out on an invite only basis.
This feature will support the same benefits buying items with prime on Amazon.com currently has, including free delivery and free returns.
While helpful for smaller, independent merchants in improving their services, this feature will increase the internet’s dependence on Amazon, which is something that we as consumers should not necessarily support with open arms.
