As a dedicated Kindle lover, it’s good to see the little e-reader is finally growing up.
The latest version of the device now features better LED lighting — including a warm mode for low-light conditions — and USB-C charging. It also supports white-on-black reading for those into dark mode.
The device lasts about 10 weeks on one charge and rechargers in two hours.
The new base model costs $139 for 8GB of storage and the Signature edition is a bit more expensive and includes 32GB and wireless charging for $159.
The readers are available for pre-order now and will ship in October.
