At the end of the year, we tend to see calendars popping up on the store shelves. Sure, those wall calendars have become less of a thing, given that most of us plan our stuff on digital calendars. However, daily calendars with tear off pages for each day always seem popular to have on a desk. You can learn new words, read old comics, and the like. Or, if you get the 2024 Quest Calendar, you can go adventuring, one day at a time.
What is it?
Well, it’s much like any other page-a-day calendar, where you have the current day on top, and then when you sit down the next day, you tear off the page and see what the current day has in store. This one, though, you’re going on a single-player RPG adventure. In this way, you can scratch that role-playing itch in small doses, day-by-day.
How does it work?
Rather than me trying to explain it with words, here’s how they explain the mechanics:
How can you get yours?
This was something that funded on Kickstarter, but that campaign has closed out. Not to despair, bold adventurer – it’s also up for pre-order! Putting aside the PDF print-and-play offerings, the base calendar (with nothing else) is $22. You can add in dice (if you don’t have any), a deck of PVC playing cards (which are used in the game, and should be long-lasting), and all sorts of other goodies.
