If you’re heading out onto the water, odds are you’re trying to get a single watercraft that can be as versatile as you need it to be for whatever it is you’re doing. If you’re handy at fabrication, you might even build out your own racks and holders for your board or boat, and hope that they hold up. Or, if you’re checking out the BOTE Rackham Aero, you’ve got a new Rail Rac system that can help hold your gear in place.
Basically, you put some rails into existing mount points on the board, and then you can easily put in holders to keep your paddle or sandspear in place; I’m going to go ahead and presume more options will get released as they flesh this option out. Here’s what BOTE says about the system:
