The Author Clock is great for bookworms

When I first saw the Author Clock I was reminded of the olden days of early connected devices. This little box – essentially the size of a travel clock – displays a quote that includes the current time once a minute. The $124 box is clad in oak and features a brass knob on the side.

Honestly there’s not much else to say here: it’s a cool clock that shows quotes from books. The product is fully funded on IndieGoGo and is now being offered as a standalone product for $124 for the small version and $249 for the large version.

The coolest thing? You can add your own quotes to the mix, allowing folks to read your amazing writing (that also directly references a certain time.) From the site:

Author Clock transforms checking the time into a whimsical event, transporting you into key moments in literature and writing history. Containing thousands of quotes from a diverse range of authors, Author Clock is a creative and inspiring way to tell time. If you love a good book and great story, this is the clock for you.
