Well, that’s a bit of a stretch, but ol’ Nikola did have a thing for transmitting electricity without wires, right? The other week, we told you about some charging packs from mophie, including one that could charge wirelessly. Well, this week they announced two new 15W wireless charging solutions.
The first one is a simple charging pad. You’ve got your choice of color (black or white), and then it’s a 3.43″ square that sits on your desk, looking pretty with a fabric cover, and a rubber ring around the edge to keep your phone from sliding all around. It’s clean, it’s simple, and it’ll provide up to 15W of power to your Qi-enabled device for $49.95
On the other hand, if you’d prefer to have your phone upright – so you can see the screen at a glance without craning your neck – then the 15W charging stand is what you’ll want. No color choices here, and you’ll be paying $59.95 for the stand, but I think it gives a cleaner look to the desktop.
