I’ve made no pains to hide it – Lems has been making some of my very favorite boots over the past few years. I like the style, but even more than that, they’re just super comfortable shoes with their zero-drop configuration, and padded soles. They introduced their Drifter shoe last year for a quick slip-on, and now they’re back with a new version perfect for a winter house shoe – the Lems Drifter Fur.
I’ll say this right at the outset – I’m not the one to go for any sort of suede jacket or boots that have bits of fluff sticking out of them just to look a bit warmer, that’s just not my style. However, in all the styles of slippers I’ve tried to keep my feet warm in the winter, I’ve come back to moccassin style a number of types, both fleece and flannel lined.
So, style-wise, the Lems Drifter Fur are hitting all the right spots for me. I also tend to like slippers that have some sort of a sole on them, for the traction inside, plus for when I need to pop out onto the porch to get the mail and whatnot. It’s good to have that versatility, you know? I suppose these would work just as well for walking around as a casual shoe, but these look to be some very comfortable slippers that should be ready to be an indoors cat, you know? However you want to wear them, they’re going for $100 direct from lemsshoes.com
