When you’re heading into the outdoors (or sometimes even out of the house), a flashlight can be a handy thing to have. But then you need to think – do you need a long throw, or do you need a softer close-up flood? Or maybe you want to signal with a red light, or point at something with a laser? Now, with the Nikoko 9-in-1 Flashlight, you can do all of those things (plus a few more).
Nikoko 9-in-1 Flashlight: what it is
The Nikoko 9-in-1 Flashlight is not your ultra-compact, hide it in a coin pocket sort of a flashlight. This is a bigger, palm-sized light that jams in a lot of capability in the aluminum body. At its heart, you have a 5000mAh battery powering all of the functionality (and it can also act as a power bank). What all can it do? Here’s the rundown:
- Long distance lighting: 2000 lumens up to 500m
- Close up lighting: 800 lumens (think lighting up under the hood or in a cabinet)
- UV Blue Light: find those scorpions, read hidden messages, and so on
- Red Laser: freak out cats up to 300m away
- Green laser: can go up to 2000m (please do NOT shine it up in flight paths)
- White or red flashing pattern
That’s just the lighting. It also has a strong neodymium magnet in it’s base (so you can stick it up somewhere and work hands-free), and it’s also got a windproof ceramic lighter (under a spring-loaded cover) to help you get that campfire started. In other words, quite the handy tool for the campsite. Don’t drop it in the lake, but the IPX4 rating should keep it safe if you get caught in the rain.

Given all that this flashlight packs in, it’s not surprising that the funding goal (albeit a very low one) has been met and exceeded.
