Not that long ago, we reviewed a pair of earbuds from 1More, the Comfobuds Mini (which you can see here). While those were great for exercise, they just released a new pair that you might be looking at if you’re more about using your earbuds to watch content on your phone, tablet, or Smart TV. Meet the 1More Aero earbuds.
As you can see from the photos, these have longer stems coming down, rather than just being a small little thing that is placed in your ear. Along with getting you a mic that’s closer to where your voice is, our guess is that this is where their 3D audio tech is packed in as well. What’s interesting is that this tech doesn’t require you to be playing something specific, or have a particular device that supports it. It’s all contained in the earbuds.
Basically, as you move your head around – say, looking from left to right – the earbuds pick up the positioning of your head, and then adjust how you’re hearing the sound, making you feel more immersed in what you’re listening to. If you’re used to just sitting in a chair and listening to tunes, it may not be something you look for. Watching a movie or playing a game and looking around, though, that could be pretty clever.
