Instead of a beer, why not a Rogue canned cocktail?

With Rogue, you might just think of them as a beer company. Well, they’ve actually got a distillery and have been producing spirits for some time. So, the pivot into canned cocktails isn’t all that surprising. In fact, we’ve actually reviewed some of the flavors right here. Well, now there’s a new flavor on the block – the Rogue Whiskey Lemon Ginger Mule.

Yeah, I know – that’s a lot of words, but it gets across the idea of what you’re getting in the can. Here’s what the brand is saying about it:

  • Ingredients: Rogue Spirits Whiskey, Ginger, Lemon, Simple Syrup, Sparkling Water
  • ABV: 7.5% ABV
  • Taste: Rogue Spirits Whiskey forms the base of this cocktail while ginger and lemon provide a refreshing balance of citrus and spice.
  • Availability: Nationwide
  • Packaging: 4-pack 12oz slim cans

Now, will a canned cocktail get all the ratios just right (to your own tastes), or even been cheaper than what you might mix at your home bar? No, not likely – but for the utter simplicity of having it ready to go (and even take along for an outing in a cooler?), that’s not to be underestimated. With cooler weather on the way, this sounds like a great one to have on hand (and maybe even try warmed up, almost like a fizzy hot toddy). rogue.com
