In Review: Susan’s Own CBD Gummies

While we’ve not been shy about reviewing vaping products for you (you can see the latest here), that’s not really been something I’ve gotten into. However, for a few reasons, I’ve been checking out what the to-do is in the world of CBD. I’ve tried a few different options, and one of the latest has been Susan’s Own CBD Gummies.

Of course, if you’re looking for something that’s a higher dose, then you’re going to be looking at something oil-based. For an easy-to-consume (and transport, if we’re being honest), it’s hard to argue with a gummy. For those who are vegan or want to avoid pork products, you’re good here – these rely on nothing animal-based whatsoever. In fact, you can see the full ingredient listing down below, which is a pretty short list.

The CBD distillate is the main thing here, and the Susan’s Own CBD Gummies contain 25mg per gummy. As with these sorts of things, if your doctor isn’t directing you, start small. Start off with just the one gummy, and then adjust if you need to. The main thing I look at CBD for is to reduce muscle aches/tension, which means taking them an hour or two before bed is a great time for my use. In my experience (and this can vary by product), they do help ease that, and just an overall sense of relaxation.

As you can see from the photos, the Susan’s Own CBD Gummies come in three different flavors. We tried out all three, and I’ll say that the flavors are pretty spot-on to the label on the tin. At least at first. By that, you get that flavor that you’re expecting, but then a few seconds, that fades away and you get something that’s very.. earthy. Or to put it another way that makes sense in my head – it tastes like the smell of incense. So, if your brain works like mine in that regard, you know what you’re getting. Really, what it is (from my experience trying other CBD products) is the true flavor of the CBD distillate. It’s not unpleasant, you just need to know what you’re getting into.

Of course, that also tells you – quite noticeably – that you’re not eating some random gummy from the store. Which is good, because while I wouldn’t say that the Susan’s Own CBD Gummies are something dangerous, you want to know what you’re dealing with. And of course, you don’t want your kids getting into them, so bear that in mind.

If you’d like to try out the Susan’s Own CBD Gummies yourself, they come in a bottle of 20 gummies for $36.99 in the three flavors that we’ve shown you here. They’ll ship to you from Colorado, and you can order yours directly at susansown.com
