Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate Lemonade: In Review

Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate Lemonade

If you recall, a week ago, we told you about some new flavors of the Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate (seen here). Since then, we’ve been adding it to our water after morning walks and jogs, and are here to tell you how the Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate Lemonade is.

If you recall, there’s another hydration product we had reviewed (you can see that here). This Hydrate powder is similar, in that it mixes easily, and it’s all about getting those electrolytes back into you. A big difference that you’ll note is the calories used. A single scoop (good for 12-16 oz of water) of the Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate Lemonade is just 30 calories (the Fuel20 is a much larger scoop, and it’s 100 calories).

As with the Fuel20, the Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate Lemonade has a very pleasant mouthfeel, without any of the slipperiness that hydration products can sometimes have. When you get the water-powder ratio right, the flavor is quite nice, tasting just like lemonade. Not a sports drink that’s trying to be lemonade, but lemonade straight up.

Frankly, hydration aside, getting a 30 calorie glass of lemonade? That just sounds spot-on for warm weather. $27.45 gets you a bag of 40 servings, which means less than seventy cents for a glass of lemonade, which sounds great to us. Check out the details, and order yours, directly at gognarly.com
