Airplane Mode is a six-hour plane ride simulator

The game, called Airplane Mode by AMC (they of the Walking Dead) have created a flight simulator that isn’t exactly what you’d expect.

Similar to the mediative, 8-hour game Desert Bus, Airplane Mode basically lets you sit in a window seat on a plane going over a satellite-generated image of the earth. You can watch old public-domain movies, play crosswords, and watch as the cabin crew walk around serving drinks.

That’s right: it simulates a whole flight. That’s it. Nothing else.

While there could be room for a few zombies in this odd game, it’s a fascinating and exciting idea. You’ll be able to buy the game in 2020 and pre-order here. Be sure to buy a big, bulky seatbelt to wear to really add a little realism to the experience.
