Facebook, Instagram Banned in Russia

A Moscow court reportedly found Meta Platforms guilty of “extremist activity” last Monday, which has resulted in the country blocking Facebook and Instagram, in a bold new move.

The country exempted WhatsApp, due to its “lack of functionality for the public dissemination of information”.
