Eureka J15 Max Ultra

New year, new you? Does any of that include some goals around keeping your house clean? If so, sure, you can develop a routine for regular deep cleaning, but what about the day-to-day stuff? Why not automate what you can, especially if you have pets and kids in the house? The just-announced Eureka J15 Max Ultra is looking to do just that for you.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra: what it is

The Eureka J15 Max Ultra is an extension of their J15 Series of robot vacuums. At it’s core, yes, it’s a robotic vacuum, with a home base it can go to to empty itself and recharge. The J15 has a lot of other functionality (you can see that all here), and the Max Ultra adds in a handful of new features as well:

  •  Transparent Liquid Detection: The first robotic vacuum to detect transparent liquids with precision, utilizing advanced AI, dual infrared, and FHD vision sensors.
  • FlexiRazor™ Technology: Cuts through tangles at an impressive 400 times per minute, ensuring uninterrupted performance.
  • Dual Mop and Brush Extensions: Designed to effortlessly clean corners and edges with precision.
  • DragonClaw Side Brush: Features a non-tangle V-shaped design for efficient sweeping of corners and sideboards.
  • ObstaCross Technology: Seamlessly navigates standard thresholds up to 1.18 inches and tackles complex double-layer thresholds up to 1.57 inches.
  • Pet-Friendly “Do Not Disturb” Mode: Ensures stress-free cleaning for households with pets

With the features allowing it to detect liquids (and adapt how it cleans those up vs, say, dust), avoiding any solid pet waste (don’t need that tracked through the house), reaching into corners, and taking care of tangled hair and string on itself, this vacuum has a lot going for it.

Wrapping things up

Now, if you followed that first J15 link we had up there, you saw that this series is definitely a top-of-the-line device. The current Pro Ultra is going for $999, and when the new Eureka J15 Max Ultra releases in June 2025, it’s expected to retail for $1,299. If that feels a little steep for the budget, they do have a new entry-level model, the J15 Ultra, coming out sooner (in March 2025) that will retail for $799. You can check out a comparison of the features of the three J15 models below, and of course check out all the robotic details over at eureka.com
