Comcast has launched a new live TV streaming service called Xfinity Instant TV. The service offers a selection of channels for $20 per month, with the option to add on additional channels for an extra fee. The basic package includes 60 channels, including local broadcast networks, AMC, ESPN, and USA.

The service is available to Comcast Internet customers in select markets. Xfinity Instant TV is aimed at cord-cutters who are looking for a cheaper alternative to traditional cable TV.

Comcast $20 Xfinity Instant TV: HBO & Showtime

The service is similar to other live TV streaming services like Sling TV and DirecTV Now, but with a smaller selection of channels. However, Xfinity Instant TV does offer some unique features, such as the ability to add on premium channels like HBO and Showtime, and the option to upgrade to a DVR service.

One downside to Xfinity Instant TV is that it requires a Comcast internet subscription, which can be expensive. However, for those who already have Comcast Internet, the service is a good option for those who want to save money on their TV bill.

Overall, Xfinity Instant TV is a solid option for cord-cutters who are looking for a cheaper alternative to traditional cable TV. While the selection of channels is smaller than other live TV streaming services, the ability to add on premium channels and upgrade to a DVR service makes it a good option for those who want more flexibility. However, the requirement of a Comcast internet subscription may be a dealbreaker for some.
