CES 2024: Dreo

While we’re used to the big brands hitting CES, some of the smaller brands that produce products we’ve really come to like have not made the show in the past. Well, one that’s hitting the show floor for the first time this year is Dreo.

While we’re used to – and like – their fans and heaters, their CES debut has something leading the charge that we’ve not seen in person – the ChefMaker combi-fryer. This is an interesting home appliance, as it’s not just another repackaging of the ubiquitous air fryer. This can do convection cooking, and introduce (and control) moisture in the chamber (helpful for long cooks of meat at lower temps) and even an integrated temperature probe, helping to keep things at the temps that you want. For a $359 device (which you can order here) it had better bring a strong game, and it looks like it is.

They’ve also got some other things they’re showcasing at the show, including:

  • Fans and humidifiers (we’re working on getting a review unit of the humidifier)
  • A milk frother (get that fancy coffee going)
